The Web Guru is a leading web development company that provides services related to website design and re-design, website maintenance, mobile application development, and e-commerce solutions. The following are the terms and conditions under which Web Guru will operate and provide client service.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The information available on the website is the property of Web Guru. The copying of information or material from this website to any public or private electronic retrieval system is strictly prohibited. Please do not use any information mentioned on the official website in conjunction with any other commercial website or in any other way without our written permission.
  • The amount and payment procedure are agreed upon when you hire our services.
  • It is our policy to deliver the work in a timely manner while adhering to the quality specifications as well as the discussion with the client. Please feel free to contact us via phone, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Skype or Email for any clarifications or inquiries. Unless we need additional time for certain projects, in which case you agree to provide the necessary time, we follow fixed working hours.
  • Ensure that the client provides all the necessary details/instructions/guidelines based on which the project will be created. Whenever there are delays at the client's end, this can result in the project and the proposed timeframe being delayed, which may result in additional costs.
  • A proposal must include information regarding the complexity of specific tasks in advance for the purposes of costing. To ensure the quality of our work, we rely on our clients to disclose the full picture at the time of quotation. Web Guru will not be liable for any discrepancy arising from unclear requirements.
  • The cost of any bugs (programming errors) reported during or after the development process is not increased.
  • The project materials should be provided before the project can begin. There may be additional charges incurred if there is a delay in the completion of the project.
  • Modifications to the finished project will incur additional expenses. It will also be necessary to incur charges if changes are made to the design after it has been approved. Extra work beyond the estimate will be charged separately. It is not the responsibility of Web Guru to be responsible for any delays caused by changes in the project.
  • The responsive/multi-device compatible web pages are tested on iPhones and iPads. Please let us know in advance if you require the testing to be performed on any other device.
  • The additional work hours required for server or network related issues will not be covered in our quotes if your application/website is not hosted on a Synapse server.
  • Web Guru owns all copyrights to all code written for clients, unless prior arrangements have been made. Web Guru warrants that any custom software built for the client will be used only by the client while they are paying for the hosting services.
  • Building a website/application may involve the use of third-party components such as third-party payment gateways or SSL certificates depending on the functionalities required. It is the responsibility of Web Guru to perform at its best in order to recognize the suitability of any component. The company is not responsible for any unanticipated limitations of third-party components that are beyond its control. Our quotes do not include any costs associated with the third party component.
  • The client must acknowledge any delays in the completion of the project caused by reasonable circumstances. We strive to deliver on time, but the client should not penalize us for this.
  • If hosting charges are not mentioned in the quotations, they are not included. A quote for an appropriate hosting solution will be submitted separately and approved by the client if needed. When the client decides to organize the hosting themselves, please consult us beforehand to determine the type of hosting and database. This is due to the fact that it must meet the requirements of the technology used in the development. Hosting support for testing and application deployment should be provided with full access. Please note that Web Guru is not responsible for any delays or errors caused by the hosting company, either directly or indirectly.
  • No responsibility is assumed for any open source products such as WordPress, Open Source carts, Joomla, etc. All components and third-party software must be updated by the client. You should take regular backups of your data to prevent any disruptions.
  • It is the responsibility of Web Guru to provide packages in coordination with the third party providers. Our services and terms and conditions may be affected by any changes to the third party provider's rules and policies.
  • A commercial grade web-server or a similar setup is used to deploy the website or software application on the web. An office network environment is unlikely to be suitable for the deployment of the website.
  • Any project/proposal does not include domain registration/renewal charges if they are not specified. It is possible to submit a quote to the client for approval.
  • Our company specializes in building and testing applications and websites on our own servers or hosted domains. Clients or third parties will not have access to our servers or domains. The invoices and dues must be paid in order to transfer the website/application to a third party server.
  • Web Guru will grant to the customer an unconditional license to reproduce, publish, communicate, use, exploit, vary, or otherwise deal with 1) the graphics, 2) text and 3) images utilized in the published website and associated form and functionality in consideration of the customer entering into this agreement with Web Guru. Web Guru shall grant this license upon payment of any outstanding invoice. A website's intellectual property will not include digital strategies, programming codes, database structures, scripts, forms or functionality.
  • Email is the preferred method of communication/correspondence. The client is responsible for keeping us updated with their relevant email addresses.
  • It is our policy to update our website's information in a timely manner. Keep an eye on our website for future updates.
